Project Scope: Life Skills, Customer Service and Employability training for the underserved, and economically challenged residents of the Alexandra Park Community. Cohorts of 10 -15 participants aged 16 and over with various barriers to employment, and who are currently unemployed, or under employed.
A three to six months paid training experience with placement followed by job search, career planning, and personal development; with success measured by graduation to further schooling, or full-time employment.
A holistic support ecosystem will be used to advocate, and assist with any of the challenges that occur while the participants are going through the program, and more supports are made available after graduation if necessary.
